(CBTA 6F)
The Full licence (CBTA 6F) represents the final step in your licensing journey. It demonstrates you possess the skills, awareness, and confidence to manage virtually any riding scenario. The CBTA 6F assessment confirms you're prepared for unrestricted riding.
You're eligible to book your CBTA 6F after holding your Restricted Licence for a minimum of nine months. Keep in mind, the complete 12-month period must be fulfilled before you can obtain your Full Licence.
What to bring? — Please bring closed-toe shoes, long pants, long sleeves, a helmet, and gloves. If using your own bike, ensure it's road-legal and meets all road safety standards.
Need a bike? A LAMS-approved motorbike can be provided for CBTA at a small additional cost.
WHAT'S INVOLVED
- A 25–30 minute ride, focusing mainly on open-road conditions
- Assessment of your advanced roadcraft, cornering techniques, hazard response, and overall control
- Conducted on a LAMS-approved motorcycle (yours or one we provide)

Coaching isn't compulsory, but most riders find it invaluable. We'll help you polish your skills and feel fully prepared for the assessment.
